The hourly National Express coach service runs too and from Canterbury bus station and London Victoria Coach Station. It also has hourly services to Dover and Margate for local sight seeing. At certain times of the year with our guest house discount card you can receive a 5 percent discount when traveling on any of these routes.
Canterbury is accessed by the A2 London to Dover Road arriving direct into the city outskirts from the M25, central London and Dover ferry docks. The other main road accessing Canterbury is the A28 from Ashford (Eurostar station), Ramsgate and Margate. The hourly National Express coach service departs from Victoria Coach Station London, Dover and Margate and arrives at the main bus station in Canterbury.
Canterbury has two railway stations, Canterbury West and Canterbury East, operated by Southeastern. Canterbury West is served from London Charing Cross, Ramsgate, Margate and with services from London Victoria interchanging en route. Canterbury East has services from London Victoria and Dover. Canterbury South is due to reopen from 2009 with the introduction of high speed trains from London and Dover.
